Seminars, Workshops and Training Sessions

Since 2008, the automobile Laboratory organizes yearly workshops on road race, in partnership with
some teams and drivers, which themselves stand out:

  1. PRMiniracing and pilot Paulo Ramalho, who has extensive experience in this sport activity, in
particular in the National Mountain championship.
  2. Loureiro & Jacinto & Motorsport with Nuno Batista (race car driver),
  3. Veloso Motorport with Nuno Batista and Alonso race car drivers.

These workshops and training sessions are aimed at students from ISEP, particularly for students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, aiming to raise awareness of a cross shape relevant aspects involved in automobile competition,
notably technical and sporting rules, characteristics techniques and a race car preparation. There was addressed issues
such as the interpretation of telemetry data, driving skills and some car set up adjustments.

These are excellent opportunity to promote training about motor sports among ISEP students.
